Your responsibilities as the Supervising Social Worker:

· Undertake both office-based and home- based duties

· Provide preparation training

· Carry and Caseload of a maximum of 18 Fostering families and/or up to 16 children and young people

· Keep accurate and up to date records on the Foster Carers in line with current regulations

· Be able to work well directly with the wider public, foster carers and young people,

· Be able to produce clear, evidence based and analytical assessments.

Basic Requirements of you as the Supervising Social Worker:

v A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW/MA)

v A valid HCPC registration

v Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have a vehicle

Desirable Requirements

· Significant experience of working with Looked After Children

· Experience of working within Fostering

· Therapeutic knowledge and skills
